At The Bug, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not, we offer returns and refunds under the following conditions.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be returned in the original packaging with all tags and labels attached.
  • You must initiate a return within 2 days of receiving your order.
  • Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order number) must be provided.

Non-returnable items:

  • Items on sale or marked as “final sale.”
  • Customized or personalized items.
  • Undergarments, swimwear, or any item that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer support team at [email/contact form link] with your order number and reason for return.
  • Once your return is approved, you will receive instructions on how and where to send your item.

Please note that you are responsible for paying the return shipping cost of Rs 150, which will be deducted from your refund.

3. Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of Rs 100 will be applied to all returns. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 business days.

Refunds may not include:

  • Original shipping costs.
  • Return shipping fee of Rs 50.
  • Restocking fee of Rs 100.

5. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact our customer service at helo@thebug.world.

6. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order before it has been shipped for a full refund. However, if the order has already been processed and shipped, you will need to follow our return policy, and the following charges will apply:

  • Return shipping fee: Rs 50.
  • Restocking fee: Rs 100.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund after 7 business days, please check your bank account or contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at help@thebug.world.

8. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at help@thebug.world with photos and a description of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund based on the condition of the item received.

9. Final Sale Items

Please note that items marked as “Final Sale” cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
